September 21- Claiborne High hosted J. Frank White Academy for a game of girls’ soccer. Claiborne took little time in scoring the opening goal as Emma Hoskins kicked one by the Lady Knights’ keeper. That goal was followed by Abby Daniels, Payton Johnson, Jaylen Pressnell, Riley Kiefer and a second goal by Hoskins to give the home team a 6-0 halftime lead. At the start of the second half, Claiborne added a seventh goal by Raygan Hurley and their final goal of the night by Cheyenne Ramsey. Ella Wynn scored the sole goal for the Lady Knights during the second half. The final score was 8-1 with Claiborne getting the win.
The First Century Bank Co-Players of the Game were Claiborne’s Jayla Pressnell and J. Frank White’s Ella Wynn.
