November 24- Elevation and K.O.C. Invitational Basketball Tournament hosted by Claiborne High, Day 3.
The final game of day three was between the hosting Claiborne High and Cosby. Cosby dominated the early stages of this one causing Claiborne to battle hard to come from behind. A slow start by Ethan Cupp turned into a game changing 18-points. C.J. Cox also started slow but finished in double figures with 11. Brady Hamlin had nine. Evan Thomas and Josh Bolton scored six. Cole Holt had a three, Jake Smith had two and Kaden Williams had one point. Cosby had two scoring in double-figures, Mack Holt with 12 and Cruz Coggins with 11. *Scores unofficial.
The Claiborne Health & Wellness Player of the Game went to Josh Bolton. Bolton only had six points but his contributions to the team’s win were helping control the ball during pressure defense and at the charity stripe when he was fouled late in the game.
