Bulldogs down Eagles 75-70

November 20- The Claiborne Bulldogs defeated Seymour in the second game of the Elevation and K.O.C. Invitational Tournament.

Claiborne jumped ahead to lead 38-27 at the half and took the win 75-70 despite a super-human performance by Cameron Soulages with 42-points. Claiborne countered Soulages with Ethan Cupp. Cupp finished with 27 points.

Also scoring for CHS were Brady Hamblin with nine, C.J. Cox with seven. Josh Bolton, Jake Smith and Evan Thomas all had six. Kaden Williams had five, Hunter Greer along with Cole Holt and Vince Bolden all had three points.

Joining Soulages in scoring were David Canterberry with 10, Hayes Golden with seven, Trevin Frazier had five, Bayln Wolfe had two as did Grayson McGill, Ayden Husky, and Bennent Cain.

The Claiborne Health & Wellness Bulldog Player of the Game went to Ethan Cupp with 27 points with a special nod to the play of Josh Bolton who ended up being Mr. Clutch at the free throw line late and helped Claiborne break the press.
