Heather Owens sent us her nomination for educator of the month, and it was Kayla Heckmann who is a seventh and eighth grade teacher at Powell Valley.
Owens said, “My child doesn’t like school but enjoys her class! That’s huge! She makes it fun and is very kind. Winning the kids over is half the battle.”
