October 13- Claiborne hosted Cherokee in the first round of the district tournament and outscored the Lady Chiefs 4-1 to advance. The first Claiborne goal was off the foot of Abby Daniels. The second was by Honesty Johnson and the next was by Lexi Heinis. All three were in the first 40 minutes of play. The Lady Bulldogs scored once in the second by Jaylen Pressnell and they gave up only one goal to Cherokee. With the 4-1 victory, Claiborne moves on to play a very good Greeneville team, October 14.
