November 28- The first game of day three featured Campbell County versus West Greene. The Buffs were able to get the win 72-60 in part due to Josiah Dawson’s 20 points. Ayden Lemons threw in 17 And Elijah Williams finished in double figures with 14. Also in double figures was Tytus Shelton with 10. Campbell county had three in double figures including Caden Heatherly with 18, Hunter Dotson with 16 and Jake Hatmaker with 11.
Game two featured Union County versus Knoxville Ambassadors. There were only two lead changes in this one as Union County won 61-54. Kaden Carroll was again lights-out. Carroll dropped in 31. Skylar Miracle almost got double figures with nine. For the Ambassadors, Traison Swain and Samuel Alft both had 12.
The third game was the best of day three. Cumberland Gap and South Doyle changed the lead 15 times. South Doyle turned in a 42-41 halftime lead into a very hard-earned 70-67 win. Jonah Smith had 23 for the Cherokees. Caleb Moore also finished in double figures with 11. Brady Harris was on his way to a career night with 22 at the half. He was hurt a little in the second half and ended with 24 and Kolton Goins had 17. Neil Bunch also reached double figures with 12. Keaton Clawson dropped in seven. Two others had four each including Gabe Daniels and Colby Weaver.
The final game featured the host, Claiborne versus North Greene. After two lead changes, the Huskies rolled. In the end, Claiborne fell 71-48. Thomas Darnell had 17 for the Huskies. Jaiden Bailey dropped in 16 and Isaac Gaby finished with double figures with 13. Claiborne Was led by Kris Ford with 17. Drew Epperson had eight. Kaden Williams and Conner King had seven each. Lukas Thomas had four and Robby Wilmoth finished with three. Braeden Bennett had two. *ALL SCORES UNOFFICIAL
The Championship game will be held at 7:30 PM and feature South Doyle versus North Greene. The third-place game will be between rivals Claiborne and Cumberland Gap at 6 PM. Campbell County will play the Ambassadors at 3 PM and Union will tip off against West Greene at 4:30 PM.
