The Zone’s Student of the Month as presented by McDowell Gear & Machine was nominated by Sabrina Smith Osborne: Oaklee Smith from Powell Valley Elementary.
Oaklee has been giving 110% in the classroom and has made gains in both ELA and Math. She is kind to everyone and is willing to lend a helping hand to her peers as well as her teachers. Congratulations Oaklee!
All boy and girl student of the month nominees are eligible to win a 100-dollar Walmart gift card at the end of the school year. One card is provided by McDowell Gear & Machine and the other one is by Claiborne County Sports Zone.
