Bobi Joe nominated her husband for The Zone’s Veteran of the Month as presented by Jon Smith Subs, “I’d love to nominate my husband, Robert Nuyen for the Veteran of the month. He served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps and in that time completed six deployments; three of which were to combat zones. Since he made the choice to retire (as a Master Sergeant) we made Claiborne County our home and fell in love with the county and lovely people. Robert has since started serving Claiborne County with his dump truck business, Nuyen’s Hauling.”
