Cumberland Gap softball loses to Hancock 4-3 and defeated Knox Central 15-5

March 27- It was heartache for the Lady Panthers as they lost to the Lady Indians on the last play of the game. The game was tied at three with Hancock batting in the final inning. The Lady Indians got a walk off single and won 4-3. Kerry Dixon was in the circle and had an outstanding game with 16 strikeouts and only five hits. Dixon and Brinkley Hollin both had two-hit games to lead the Lady Panthers at the plate. The Walker & Walker Construction Player of the Game is Kerry Dixon.

March 28- The Cumberland Gap Lady Panthers win over Knox Central was highlighted by a Hayden Beeler smash during the second inning. Despite being down early, the huge six run inning was key to the Lady Panthers win. Maddie Stevens and Lacey Gulley also got RBI singles during the big inning. Gulley was also in the circle and pitched well, striking out five. Brinkley Hollin finished the game, pitching one inning. As a team, Cumberland Gap managed 16 hits. Hollin, Beeler and Kerry Dixon all had multiple hits. Hollin went four-for-four at the plate. The Walker & Walker Construction Player of the Game was Hayden Beeler.
