The Zone’s Educator of the Month, presented by Randall Smith, is Jennifer Adams at Forge Ridge Elementary.
“I would like to nominate Jennifer Adams as the teacher nominee! She is the 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Forge Ridge Elementary and Middle school and does a wonderful job! She is great with all the kiddos and pushes them to always do their best. She makes sure they have what they need and goes above and beyond for all of her students! My younger brother was in the third-grade last year when the new retention reading law was placed. She kept me and my mom updated through the entire process and made sure he was also informed. He struggles a lot with nervousness and speeding through tests. Because she put in the time and effort with him, he PASSED. The new law has put a lot of stress on the younger ones but also the teachers. She handled it very well and professionally yet still remembered her students and what they were also struggling with during this time.” – Elizabeth Oller
